Psychotherapy
Our approach to psychotherapy is individualized, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care. The psychotherapeutic modalities we most commonly utilize include acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), compassion-focused therapy (CFT), and motivational interviewing (MI). These approaches are often focused on identifying unhelpful thought patterns, emotional barriers, and behavioral habits while developing practical skills and strategies to promote meaningful change.
When appropriate, we also incorporate elements of psychodynamic psychotherapy to better understand how past experiences, relationships, and attachment patterns may influence current emotions, behaviors, and ways of relating to others.
Psychotherapy is most effective when tailored to the individual rather than confined to a single therapeutic model. By integrating multiple evidence-based approaches, he strives to provide thoughtful, flexible, and compassionate care that aligns with each patient’s unique goals, strengths, and circumstances.
